What the customer receives

BagDrop example custody receipt

An eight dollar bag drop needs one thing written down: what we are holding, and the exact terms on which you get it back. That is this, and it is short on purpose.

A complete sample confirmation, written the way BagDrop writes one. The customer, the dates and the amounts are illustrative, and nothing here was charged or reserved.

What we have

TagItemCondition notedPhotographed
4471 Black cabin case, hard shell, 55 cm Scuff to the lower right corner Yes
4472 Grey rucksack, 30 l, one external pocket No damage noted Yes

Condition is noted at the counter before the tag goes on, so that a mark already there is not a mark we are asked about later. Both photographs are on your record and you can see them in the app.

02

Collection

How you get them back

  • The release code, sent to your phone at drop off. Without it nothing is released
  • Photo ID matching the booking name. Both are checked, every time
  • Someone else may collect only if you add them to the booking in the app first
  • Collection takes about a minute. There is no queue system, it is a counter
  • Check the items before you leave. A claim after you walk out is much harder to settle
