What the customer receives

CampRoam example rental agreement

This Organization does not sell a report. What you keep is the agreement and the handover record: the van, the berths, where it may go, what the mileage costs and how it comes back.

A complete sample confirmation, written the way CampRoam writes one. The customer, the dates and the amounts are illustrative, and nothing here was charged or reserved.

Handover

The briefing, and why it takes 45 minutes

  1. 15:00

    Documents and licence check

Both drivers if you are sharing. Only named drivers may drive.

  2. 15:10

    Walkaround and condition photographs

38 frames including the roof canvas, which is the most commonly damaged part and the most expensive.

  3. 15:20

    The pop-top roof, in person

Up and down twice, with you doing it the second time. Roof damage from an incorrect close is the single biggest deposit deduction and it is entirely avoidable.

  4. 15:30

    Gas, water, waste and electrics

Where everything is, how to empty the grey tank, and which switch is the leisure battery.

  5. 15:40

    Child seat fitted and checked

By staff, with you watching, not handed to you in a box.

  6. 15:45

    Keys and away

Emergency number is in the door pocket and on a card in your wallet.

Toilet cassette Emptied and rinsed USD 90

Munich to the Dolomites and back is around 650 km, so the 800 km package fits a normal weekend with room to wander. A run down to Lake Garda and back is closer to 900 and would cost about USD 30 in excess mileage, which is usually cheaper than buying a bigger package up front.
