City Transfer · from USD 110
Named driver, Tuesday, Mayfair to the City and back
London. One driver all day, and a legal limit on his hours that shapes the itinerary.
Marcus Aidoo, same driver all day, from 08:15 in Mayfair. Your itinerary as sent is three stops and a return, which is nine and a quarter hours of duty. That is inside the limit, and clause 03 explains what would not be.
Full-day chauffeur, Tuesday 21 October, 08:15 to 17:30, Marcus Aidoo driving a Mercedes E-Class. Three stops and the return as per your itinerary. Total duty 9 hours 15 minutes including pre-checks, which is within the limit. Anything past 19:00 requires a second driver, arranged in advance.

Hours
The limit, and what it means for extensions
A chauffeur's day is regulated. Duty time includes the pre-check, the waiting and the return to base, not only the driving, and the limit is not something the driver or the client can agree to waive.
| Scenario | Duty time | Possible? |
|---|---|---|
| Your booking as written | 9h 15m | Yes |
| Plus a 90 minute overrun at the last stop | 10h 45m | Yes, charged at USD 95 per hour |
| Plus a dinner collection at 20:00 | 13h | No. Second driver required |
| Same driver again at 07:00 tomorrow | n/a | Only with a 10 hour rest break. 17:30 to 07:00 is fine |
| Same driver from 06:00 tomorrow after a 19:00 finish | n/a | No. Rest break too short |
The third row is the one that catches corporate clients. An evening collection after a full day is a second driver and a second vehicle, and it needs booking rather than asking at 17:00.
