Fitted on Tuesday, altered by Thursday, collected Friday, worn Saturday, back Monday. The one thing that is genuinely inflexible is the Monday return, because the same suit is fitted to someone else on Tuesday afternoon.
Midnight blue dinner suit, garment DV-1188, reserved for 10 October. Two alterations were agreed at the fitting: trouser length taken up 3 cm and the jacket sleeves shortened 1.5 cm, both reversible and both included. Collection Friday 9 October from 10:00, return Monday 12 October by 19:00.

What to do and not do with it
- Do not clean it. Cleaning is included and a domestic clean on wool and mohair does more harm than a stain
- Hang it on the shaped hanger supplied, not on a wire one
- A spill is not a disaster. Blot, do not rub, and tell us on return
- The studs and links are counted out and counted back. They are the thing people lose
- Keep the garment bag. The return label is inside it
