What the customer receives

FixRight example job confirmation

This Organization does not sell a report. What you keep is the job confirmation: the task list as accepted, what was taken off it and why, and the before and after evidence you get at the end.

A complete sample confirmation, written the way FixRight writes one. The customer, the dates and the amounts are illustrative, and nothing here was charged or reserved.

Four of your five jobs are booked for Thursday morning with Danny Whelan. The fifth, moving the kitchen socket, is not something a handyman may do here, and clause 02 explains what it actually needs.

Four jobs accepted, one referred out

Thursday 8 October, 09:00 to 10:00, one hour with Danny Whelan. Shelf, blind, door and flat pack accepted. Moving the kitchen socket is notifiable electrical work in a kitchen and needs a registered electrician, so it has been removed and you have been sent two local names at no charge.

The list

What Danny will do

TaskDetailEstimated
Shelf, alcove, living room 1.2 m, into plaster over brick. Fixings in van stock 20 min
Roller blind, back bedroom Into timber reveal. Bring the blind, he brings the fixings 10 min
Bathroom door, sticking Ease and adjust, probably the hinge rather than the door 15 min
Flat pack bedside table Assembled, packaging removed 15 min
Total 60 min. Tight but realistic

If the shelf turns out to be going into something other than brick, that job alone can double. Danny will tell you at the time rather than quietly running over, and you decide whether to extend or drop something.
