Dog Walk · from USD 24
Weekday walks, 12:30, solo, same carer
Hackney. A key, a dog who pulls, and the one permission we will not assume.
Dani Marsh walks Bruno at 12:30 every weekday from Monday. Solo, not a group, because of the lead pulling. Clause 03 is the off-lead question and the answer is no until Dani says otherwise.
Solo 45 minute walk, weekdays 12:30, from Monday 5 October. Dani Marsh, the same carer every day with named cover. Your key is held under a coded tag with no address on it. Bruno stays on lead until Dani has walked him for two weeks and recommends otherwise, and that decision is then yours.

Bruno
What Dani was told
| Item | As you gave it |
|---|---|
| Dog | Bruno, boxer cross, 3 years, 28 kg, neutered male |
| Temperament | Friendly with people, over-enthusiastic with other dogs |
| Lead | Pulls hard. Harness, not collar, and it is on the hook by the door |
| Recall | Good at home, unreliable in the park with another dog in sight |
| Vaccinations | Current, certificate seen 29 September |
| Medication | None |
| Allergies | Chicken. No treats containing it, and Dani has her own |
| Vet | Hackney Vets, Mare Street. Registered and confirmed |
| Where he likes | London Fields. Avoid the market end on a Saturday, which does not affect weekdays |
Your key
How it is held
- Tagged with a code, never an address, and never your name
- Held in a locked cabinet at the Hackney office overnight, not at the carer's home
- Signed out to the carer each morning and signed back in
- Returned to you within 24 hours if you cancel, in person
- If a key is lost, we tell you immediately and pay for the lock change
- Dani does not have a copy and cannot make one
Off lead
The permission we will not assume
You said Bruno is "usually fine off lead". That is not enough for us to let him off, and this is the one place where a walking service should be slower than the owner.
| Stage | What happens |
|---|---|
| Weeks 1 and 2 | On lead throughout. Dani learns him |
| End of week 2 | Dani gives you an honest view on recall around other dogs |
| If she recommends off lead | You give written permission, naming the areas |
| If she does not | He stays on lead, and a long line is offered instead |
| Either way | The decision is yours, informed by someone who has walked him ten times |
An over-enthusiastic 28 kg dog with unreliable recall around other dogs is the exact profile that gets into trouble in London Fields at lunchtime. Two weeks of on-lead walking costs nothing and settles it properly.
If something happens
Vet authority, up to a limit
| Situation | What Dani does | Authority |
|---|---|---|
| Minor cut or limp | Stops the walk, takes him home, calls you | No treatment |
| Bruno is unwell or injured and you answer | Follows your instruction | Yours |
| Injured and you do not answer within 15 minutes | Takes him to Hackney Vets | Up to USD 400 on your authority on file |
| Life threatening | Nearest emergency vet immediately, calls you from the car | Treatment to stabilise, any cost |
| Bruno injures another dog or a person | Stays, exchanges details, calls you and the office | Reported same day, in writing |
| Bruno gets loose | Calls you immediately, stays in the area, office sends a second person | Immediately |
The USD 400 authority is the one you signed on 29 September. It exists so that nobody is deciding whether to treat a dog based on whether an owner has picked up the phone.
