Verified Template Listing · USD 5
Verified, with one formula fixed before it went live
Cash Flow Forecast, 13 week rolling. Opened, run with real inputs, and checked against what your listing promises.
The verified badge on TemplateMart means somebody opened the file and used it. This is what that found: the template works, one formula broke at a specific input, and two things your listing claimed are not in the file.
The template does what it says and is now live with the badge. We found a circular reference that appears only when opening balance is negative, which you fixed on 30 September. Two claims on the listing were removed because the file does not do them: there is no scenario comparison and it is not Google Sheets compatible.

The fault
The circular reference
Found on the third run, not the first. The closing balance on the Forecast sheet feeds the overdraft interest calculation, which feeds back into the closing balance. It resolves silently while the balance stays positive and throws a circular reference warning the moment it goes below zero, which is the exact condition a cash flow forecast exists to model.
Forecast!G24, before
=G23+G18-G21-IF(G24<0,ABS(G24)*$C$6/52,0)
// G24 refers to itself through the interest term.
// Excel resolves to 0 with iterative calculation on,
// and warns with it off. Most buyers have it off. Forecast!G24, after your fix
=G23+G18-G21-IF((G23+G18-G21)<0,ABS(G23+G18-G21)*$C$6/52,0)
// Interest calculated on the pre-interest balance.
// Re-run 30 September, 13 weeks, opening balance -4,200. Clean. Listing
Two claims removed
| Claim | Status | What we did |
|---|---|---|
| Includes scenario comparison | Not in the file | Removed from the listing. There is one forecast, not three |
| Works in Google Sheets | Partly | Removed. Imports, but the locked sheets and two formulas break |
| 13 week rolling forecast | Accurate | Kept |
| Weekly and monthly views | Accurate | Kept |
| No macros | Accurate | Kept, and this is worth keeping prominent |
Removed claims are not a penalty and do not affect your verified status. They are removed because the badge means the listing is accurate, and a badge next to a claim that is not true is worse for you than no badge at all.
