Company Pipeline Brief · USD 149
Corvale Therapeutics: the publicly disclosed pipeline
What the company has said about its programmes, where each one sits, what changed this year, and what the public record does not tell you.
You are preparing for a partnering conversation and need the public picture assembled in one place. This brief organises what Corvale has disclosed: five programmes, their stated development stages, registered trial activity, announced partnerships and the material changes since January. It is commercial and competitive intelligence, and it makes no clinical, scientific or investment judgement of any kind.
Public attention and disclosure are concentrated on two of the five programmes. Two more have not been mentioned in company communications for over a year while remaining on the pipeline page, and one was quietly restaged. If you are partnering, the gap between what is on the pipeline chart and what is being talked about is the thing to ask about.
Terms
Scope and what the words mean here
Everything in this brief comes from company disclosures, public trial registries and published announcements. Stage labels are the company's own. Where a registry entry and a company statement disagree, both are shown.
| Term used | What it means in this document |
|---|---|
| Disclosed | The company has stated it in a public communication |
| Registered | An entry exists in a public trial registry, with an identifier |
| Recruiting | The registry record currently shows a recruiting status |
| Unchanged | No public update located in the period reviewed |
| Restaged | The company's own stage label for a programme has moved |
Pipeline
The five programmes, as disclosed
| Stated stage | Registry entry | Last company mention | Partnered | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| CVL-101 | Stage 2 | Recruiting | Sept 2026 | No |
| CVL-204 | Stage 2 | Recruiting | Aug 2026 | Yes, regional |
| CVL-310 | Stage 1 | Recruiting | Mar 2026 | No |
| CVL-415 | Preclinical | None found | Jul 2025 | No |
| CVL-502 | Preclinical | None found | Jun 2025 | No |
Two programmes have been on the pipeline page for over a year without appearing in any company communication. That is common and has many innocent explanations. It is also the first question worth asking in a partnering meeting.
Movement
What changed in 2026
- 22 Jan 2026
CVL-204 regional partnership announced
Development and commercialisation rights for one territory. Financial terms partially disclosed: an upfront payment and milestones, with the split not broken out.
Company announcement, 22 Jan 2026
- 14 Mar 2026
CVL-310 first participant registered
Registry record updated to recruiting. The company mentioned it once in the quarterly update and not since.
Public trial registry, record updated 14 Mar
- 8 May 2026
CVL-101 trial record amended
Target enrolment revised upward and the estimated completion date moved by roughly seven months. The amendment is in the registry. No company communication accompanied it.
Registry amendment history
- 30 Jun 2026
Pipeline page restaged CVL-415
Previously shown as Stage 1 ready, now shown as preclinical. No announcement. Established from dated captures of the pipeline page.
Company pipeline page, captures 12 Jun and 2 Jul
- 3 Sep 2026
CVL-101 named as lead programme
Described as the lead asset in a conference presentation for the first time. Previously CVL-204 held that description.
Conference presentation, published deck
Two of the five entries here were never announced and were found by comparing dated captures and registry amendment histories. Those are usually the most informative items in a brief of this kind.
Context
Registered trial activity
Public registry records only. Enrolment figures are the targets stated in the record, not actual enrolment, which is rarely published until completion.
| Programme | Registry status | Target enrolment | Stated completion | Sites |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| CVL-101 | Recruiting | 310, revised up from 240 | Q3 2027, moved from Q1 2027 | 18, four countries |
| CVL-204 | Recruiting | 180 | Q2 2027 | 11, two countries |
| CVL-310 | Recruiting | 64 | Q4 2027 | 3, one country |
| CVL-415 | No record | n/a | n/a | n/a |
| CVL-502 | No record | n/a | n/a | n/a |
The CVL-101 revision is the single most concrete change in the public record this year: a larger trial finishing later. The registry states the change and does not state a reason, and this brief does not speculate about one.
Gaps
What the public record cannot tell you
Named explicitly, because a partnering brief that hides its gaps is worse than no brief. Each of these is a legitimate question for the meeting.
- Actual enrolment against target on any of the three recruiting trials
- Why the CVL-101 enrolment target and timeline were both revised
- Whether CVL-415 and CVL-502 are active, paused or shelved
- The territory, financial split and reversion terms of the CVL-204 partnership
- Cash position and runway beyond the last published statement
- Whether the change of lead programme reflects data, strategy or resourcing
Three trials recruiting across four countries
Multi-country, multi-site recruitment is expensive and slow to arrange. A company running three of them concurrently is operationally real, whatever else is uncertain.
The two silent programmes
Fourteen months on a pipeline chart without a mention. Ask it directly and early. The answer shapes what a partnership would actually cover.
The September conference deck
It is the only 2026 document where the company explains its own priorities in its own words, and it is the source of the lead programme change.
