Poblenou studio. Three hours, materials included, and what happens to the thing you make.
Thursday at 18:30, bench 4, with Marta. The one thing people do not expect is clause 02: what you make on Thursday is not ready for about three weeks, because it has to dry, be fired twice and be glazed in between.
Wheel throwing for beginners, Thursday 8 October, 18:30 to 21:30, one of twelve places. Clay, tools, aprons and firing are included. Your finished pieces are ready for collection from 29 October and the studio holds them for three months.

When you actually get your pots

You throw
Most people make three or four pieces and keep two. Marta helps you choose which two survive.

Drying
Slowly, in the studio. Fast drying cracks things and is the main reason a piece does not make it.

Bisque firing
First firing. Some pieces do not survive it and that is normal, not a fault.

You choose a glaze
By email, from six. Or leave it to Marta, which most people do and rarely regret.

Second firing. This is where the colour happens.

Collection
Tuesday to Sunday, during opening hours. Held for three months.
Practical
The things people ask
- Cancel free until 48 hours before. After that the place is charged, because twelve is twelve
- You can move to another date once, free, up to 48 hours before
- Under 16s need an adult on the bench, not in the cafe. This class is 16 and over anyway
- Tell us about a latex allergy. The aprons and some tools are latex and there are alternatives
- There is a lift. The studio is step free from the street
- Collection is free. Posting your pieces is USD 18 within Spain and we do not post fragile work internationally
